Ugliness is in the eye of the beholder-Inner beauty is a scam

Trends are the ‘in’ things that everyone wants to get a bit off. Going with the trend is good; it means you are keeping in touch and it saves you from ridicule. Nobody should be stuck in the 80s when we are here enjoying 2016. But they say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, likewise ugliness. You must know what suits you, how best to wear it and when to wear it and when you are not sure always ask someone whose opinion you can trust. Abstaining from a trend you are not sure of makes you smart not ‘Jew’.

If you don’t have ‘front hair’ then you should probably not go natural, even though it seems that is what many people are going for these days. Always consider your body type, complexion and other features to determine if you can pull off a trend.

Pairing different pieces takes a bit of artistic flair to achieve the right look. Combining simple pieces like a tank top, skinny jeans and a jacket can be done with powerfully, depending on the colours you choose and the accessories that go with it. Choker necklaces should not be worn with collars and don’t wear rioting colours in the name of colour blocking. A quick tip in colour blocking: opposite colours on the colour wheel always fit, no matter how divergent they seem. That is how to colour block!

Wearing a see-through chiffon top to an interview just because you were told you don’t have to dress corporate is like shooting yourself in the leg. Even if the weather is hot, remember that you are not going to the beach.
Like I said, when in doubt, ask someone whose fashion sense is on point, not someone who coincidentally dresses nice once in a while or get more than one opinion. The better you dress, the more your man will show you off!
